Marco Salgado

Career

Marco Salgado is a partner in the Corporate and M&A area at DLA Piper in Chile. He regularly advises local and multinational companies and investors in various sectors, including consumer goods, infrastructure, life sciences, and energy.

Marco has extensive experience advising on mergers and acquisitions in various industries, both public and private companies, in local and international transactions. He also advises global companies on establishing their activities in the country and corporate matters, including corporate governance.

His experience also includes representing clients in local and international commercial litigation and arbitration, having appeared before Chilean and foreign courts.

Marco has had an academic and teaching career for over twenty years. He has been a professor of Mergers and Acquisitions in the LL.M. program at the Faculty of Law of the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile and the Corporate Governance Diploma UC since its first edition, in addition to several other postgraduate courses throughout his career.
