Marc has 25 years of experience representing insurers in complex coverage matters. He counsels clients on issues arising under all types of professional liability policies as well as first-party cyber exposures. An experienced trial lawyer, Marc also represents insurers in coverage litigation in federal and state courts across the country, including suits involving allegations of bad faith, extra-contractual liability, and statutory damages.

Marc’s expertise spans the full spectrum of professional liability lines of coverage, including directors and officers (public and private company), technology, media, lawyers, and architects and engineers liability. He has assisted clients to resolve claims involving securities fraud, technology-based products and services, computer network security breaches, data loss, online and offline media content activities, workplace torts and discrimination, and legal and medical malpractice.

From 1999 to 2002, Marc was an Assistant U.S. Attorney in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the District of Columbia. In that role, he investigated, litigated, tried, and argued numerous criminal cases on behalf of the United States at the grand jury stage, the motions phase, at trial, and on appeal in both federal and local courts.
