Manuel has a broad practice spanning public international law, international arbitration and commercial law. He advises and acts in inter-State and treaty disputes, law of the sea matters, commercial and investment arbitrations, and proceedings before domestic courts. His commercial work includes energy and natural resources, civil fraud, commodities, conflicts of laws, and shareholder/company disputes.

Most of Manuel’s work has an international element. He has acted and advised in more than twenty jurisdictions, including the United States, Russia, Singapore, the UAE and across Latin America, and in four languages. He has particular experience of complex, high-risk jurisdictions and disputes involving allegations of fraud, corruption and deception.
