Madeleine is the Senior Partner at Osborn Abas Hunt and heads up a team of specialist lawyers and consultants. She has 23 years’ experience in the field of health and safety compliance and enforcement. She is often engaged at the outset of major projects, especially infrastructure projects, to assist those aiming for excellence in safety performance and provides advice on complex compliance issues. She also remains at the forefront of enforcement action. Her current case load includes representing both public and private organisations in respect of corporate manslaughter investigations and other fatality investigations including inquests and HSE cases, plus a wide range of other investigations. Madeleine is particularly knowledgeable about the construction industry and emergency services and is particularly known for her training in safety leadership and accident investigation/response. She is regularly commissioned to prepare bespoke training programmes and workshops for her clients. Madeleine served as chair of the HSLA for 7 years and, by invitation of the Selection Panel, has been included within Who’s Who for her work in health and safety since 2013. Madeleine speaks regularly at industry conferences and sits on the Editorial board of the Construction Health & Safety Manual.
