Maame is a Legal Associate at the Firm.
Maame Barnie has played a leading role in a number of client instructions to the firm including land sale and purchase transactions and debt recovery. She manages the firm’s large debt recovery portfolios for both private high value clients and parastatal agencies.
She has considerable expertise in matters of labour law, representing both corporate and individual clients and supervises the Firm’s commercial dispute resolution practice. Maame also advises and provides representation on divorce and family matters, ensuring that, to the extent possible, parties meet their needs amicably in the best interest of any children involved in the process.
She formed part of the core team of the Firm to produce major publications, one of which is the Oxford Business Group’s Report: Ghana 2022 – Legal Chapter, which focused on fundamental laws and policies in Ghana that are key considerations for investors.
