Luke Zadkovich is the managing partner at Floyd Zadkovich. He co-founded the firm with Ed Floyd in 2017
As Luke’s practice has grown over the years, he is sought out by clients to run many complex, high value disputes in the financial and investment sectors. Over the last 2-3 years, he has managed four major, global commercial arbitrations and litigations, with multi-layered enforcement / asset freezing actions, crossing sometimes 10 different state borders, for private equity funds clients, ranging in value from $25m, $60m, $100m to $600m, as well as a suite of matters of lower, yet significant, value. Those investment-related matters were mezzanine finance structures, special situations and stock purchase agreement post-M&A disputes, including LCIA, ICC, English Commercial Court and US District Court.
His practice has also played to his strengths in the international trade and maritime sectors, with extensive experience in energy, commodities, logistics, shipping, insurance, bankruptcy/insolvency, marine casualty, construction, catastrophic events, property damage and other major disputes. Luke also advises on major projects and contracts, including ship sale and purchase, ship finance, off-shore projects, commodities sales, and long-term chartering arrangements.
Luke is one of the only leading lawyers in the commodities and shipping sector to receive recognition on both sides of the Atlantic for his UK/US practice.
