Since becoming a tenant at St Philips in 2020, Luke has practised almost exclusively in the field of financial remedies, Schedule 1 and Trusts of Land. He is regularly instructed in high-value cases as well as those with legal and factual complexities, including jurisdictional disputes, intervenor claims and offshore trusts/assets. Luke is available for instructions across the full spectrum of financial matters and at all stages of proceedings, including pre-proceedings and Alternative Dispute Resolution. He also is available to draft pleadings and pre/post-nuptial agreements.
His experience includes acting for high-net-worth clients and cases with net assets exceeding £10million. Luke has recently represented a third-party global company with an annual turnover of £50million advised to intervene in the proceedings.
Luke frequently delivers educational seminars to financial remedies practitioners including barristers and solicitors. In July 2024, he delivered a seminar to a large cohort of financial remedies District Judges and Circuit Judges who sit on the Midlands Circuit. Luke contributes to educational publications, including multiple articles published in the LexisNexis journal Family Law.
