Luiz Fernando Pereira is a lawyer, legal consultant and Founding Partner at Vernalha Pereira. He holds a Ph.D. and a Master’s degree in Civil Procedural Law from the Federal University of Paraná and currently serves as President of the Paraná Chapter of the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB) for the 2025–2027 term. With extensive experience in civil litigation, he represents the interests of companies and corporations across a wide range of economic sectors. Throughout his career, he has led cases of significant national relevance, covering multiple areas of business law. Pereira has been recognized by leading national and international legal directories and has received 15 awards in the fields of Business Law, Dispute Resolution and Civil Law. In addition to his practice in Civil Procedure, Pereira stands out for his strategic litigation and legal opinions in the field of Electoral Law. He has served as General Coordinator of the Brazilian Academy of Electoral and Political Law, co-founded the Paraná Institute of Electoral Law and presided over the Brazilian Congress on Electoral Law. His academic contributions are equally noteworthy. As a professor of Civil Procedure, he has delivered more than 400 lectures in conferences, seminars and postgraduate programs. He also coordinated two major legal publications: the Electoral Law Treaty Collection, featuring contributions from over 200 specialists, and Commentaries on the Advocacy Regulations, a compilation of nearly 370 legal articles written by more than 300 authors.
