Before joining Azevedo Sette, Luiz was partner and head of International Trade and Customs, Competition and Antitrust group (2008–2015) in leading TMT law firm in Brazil.
Luiz is Contributor to TradeLab.Org (since 2014). He was President of the Foreign Trade Committee at Câmara Espanhola de Comércio Brasil (2009 -2012), Teaching and research assistant International Law Unit and the Centre for Trade and Economic Integration Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (2007-2009), seconded lawyer at the program for international trade lawyers at the Brazilian Mission to the WTO, Geneva (2007).
Luiz is recommended in Chambers Global and Latin America in International Trade/WTO for his practical knowledge in experience advising domestic and international.
