Experience

Luis has more than 23 years of experience providing advice in tax consulting and defense in tax litigation. His professional practice has been focused on tax defense both before the Internal Revenue Service (SII) and before Tax and Customs Courts (TTA) and Courts of Appeals and Supreme Court.

He is a professor of the Master's Degree in Tax Law taught by the Faculty of Law of the University of Chile and a professor of the Master's Degree in Tax Litigation and Supervision taught by the Adolfo Ibáñez University. He is also an undergraduate professor at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences of the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.

He has participated as a speaker and academic in countless seminars, diploma courses and master's courses, aimed at the public and specific for public institutions.

Previously, he has worked as a lawyer and tax defender in auditing companies and large law firms in Chile, representing the main companies in various industries.

He is recognized by the International Tax Review publication as a lawyer specializing in tax defense in Chile, in the 2008, 2009 and 2013 editions, and in the “Tax Controversy Leaders” list in recent years.
