Francisco Lyon

Francisco Lyon is a lawyer -Universidad Gabriela Mistral (1994)- and Master in Tax Planning -Universidad de Santiago-, with more than 25 years of professional experience. After leading the Tax & Legal practice of KPMG in Chile for more than 10 years, in January 2021 he assumed as Senior Partner of KPMG Chile. Among his new responsibilities, he continues performing as a practitioner in the tax group. Currently he is President of IFA Chile A.G. (local branch of the International Fiscal Association); from 2014 to 2021 was member of the Advisory Committee of Capital Market of the Finance Minister and also member of the Tax Committee of the Colegio de Abogados de Chile. During his wide professional career, advising both large international and local companies, he has given multiple seminars and courses in different tax matters at local universities, in Universidad de Chile and Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, among others.
