Experience
Luis has advised relevant clients in capital markets, investment funds, asset management, real estate, rural real estate and timberland investments. Luis has been involved in bringing to Brazil investment in new asset classes, as healthcare real estate properties and timberland investments. He has been responsible for advising the major real estate healthcare investor in Brazil and one of the largest Brazilian timberland investors for almost a decade. The deals advised involved publicly held companies as counterparties (both in the healthcare area and pulp industries). The transactions he has work with and advised on were responsible for investment above BRL 30 billion. Luis is a former co-chair of the Real Estate and Alternative Investments Committee of the Brazilian Institute of Business Law (IBRADEMP), a non-profit association. He has coordinated and co-authored books and articles.
