Luis A. Cervantes Castillo, founding partner of CDA, has close to 20 years of experience representing national and international clients in complex commercial and civil dispute resolutions, with special emphasis in corporate, securities, shareholders, and bankruptcy litigation.

Before founding CDA, Luis was a partner in Cervantes Sainz, where he worked for 16 years, was one of the top attorneys in its litigation department and led the corporate practice group.

Luis has represented clients in a wide variety of local and cross-border commercial transactions, specifically M&A and restructuring deals, and is actively involved in giving advice in corporate and family business governance.

Finally, Luis represents national and foreign developers, lenders, and private equity investors in connection with real estate projects involving all asset classes. He is involved in the formation of private and public real estate funds in Mexico, and has vast experience representing real estate investment trusts in their equity and debt investments in the country.

Luis A. Cervantes Castillo serves in the Board of Directors of multiple national and foreign companies. Among others, Luis serves in the Board of Directors of Banca Mifel, S.A., Institución de Banca Múltiple, Grupo Financiero Mifel, and the Technical Committee of FibraPlus, a Mexican Real Estate Investment Trust.
