Luigi Isolabella is a criminal lawyer and Partner of the law firm Studio Isolabella, founded in the 1960’s by his father Lodovico.
Specialising in all of the main sectors of corporate criminal law and of the criminal liability of professionals (particularly of health professionals, engineers, tax or financial consultants and lawyers), Luigi Isolabella has assisted many Italian and foreign Companies (both listed and unlisted) – including Banks, Insurance Companies, Investment Companies and large Industrial Groups – in criminal trials in connection with corporate, financial, banking, insurance, bankruptcy, tax, environmental, accident-related offences and in crimes against the public administration.
He is the reference lawyer for several public and private health structures, which he assists in and out of court for medical malpractice and for crimes committed against the National Health System and/or the Public Administration.
Luigi Isolabella has also gained significant experience in the field of the criminal liability of legal entities (pursuant to Law 231/2001), both advising on the drafting of “231 Models” and acting as external member in Supervisory Bodies.
Within these fields of expertise, Luigi Isolabella has taken part as keynote speaker in various conferences and seminars.
He is a member of faculty, among others, of the master course in “Law & Business” organized by the Il Sole 24 Ore Business School, of the courses organized by the Italian Bank Association (ABI Formazione), of the Study and Research Group of the association “Medicina e Diritto” (Medicine and Law). He is also a member of the Scientific Committee on various projects of the “Responsabilità Sanitaria” (Medical Liability) Association of the Forensic and Insurance Medicine Institute of the University of Milan. Luigi Isolabella has also published several works in the field of criminal liability in the medical sector.
