Lisa Wong

Lisa has extensive experience in dealing with all aspects of family law. Her practice has a particular emphasis upon advising on matrimonial law and related matters.

Lisa focuses on all aspects of matrimonial law, including divorce and separation, child care and custody matters, financial applications, pre- and post-nuptial agreements, injunctions, relocation and removal applications, wardship, applications in relation to child abduction under the Hague Convention. She also advises on matters in relation to surrogacy, parental orders and jurisdictional disputes, as well as same-sex relationship disputes.

An accredited mediator, Lisa is devoted to helping divorce couples resolve their differences and make future arrangements amicably, which has led to her becoming a trained Collaborative Practitioner. She was the Chairperson of the Hong Kong Family Law Association for 3 years from 2021 to 2024, and currently serves as Vice Chairperson. Lisa is a member of the Family Law Committee of the Law Society of Hong Kong. She is a fellow member of the International Academy of Family Lawyers and also a member of the Hong Kong Collaborative Practice Group.

Lisa is one of the authors to Vol 6(1) of the Halsbury's Laws of Hong Kong ‘Children and Young Persons’ (second edition 2021) and ‘Hong Kong Practical Guidance on Fostering and Adoption’ published by LexisNexis.

Lisa is consistently recognised as a Leading Individual by Chambers (including Chambers High Net Worth), Legal 500 and Doyle’s Guide in Family/Matrimonial Law and Private Client in Hong Kong and Greater China.

Lisa is admitted to practise in Hong Kong. She is fluent in English and Cantonese, conversational in Putonghua.
