Has more than 20 years of professional experience in insurance law and insurance regulatory matters, providing specialised advice to several national and international insurance companies, insurance intermediaries and pension funds.

Leonor provides legal advice on any insurance regulatory and supervisory matters, including, namely, implementation of life and non-life insurance products, drafting of any regulatory policies or documentation, representation before the Portuguese insurance regulator regarding any regulatory matters and reporting obligations, legal support to complaints and claims, drafting or reviewing contracts with insurance intermediaries, reinsurers and insurance service providers.

Leonor also advises on more complex operations, such as incorporation of insurance companies and insurance intermediaries, insurance portfolio transfers and strategic partnership agreements.
