Construction
Lee is a shareholder in Maynard Nexsen’s Construction and Real Estate practice groups. His practice includes extensive representation of buyers, sellers, developers, landlords and tenants in a wide range of commercial construction and real estate matters, including acquisitions, dispositions, development and construction, property management, leasing and financing. Lee’s clients include some of the largest residential home developers in the United States; owners and developers of commercial office and industrial properties; owners and operators of manufactured home communities and parks; one of the largest manufactured home companies in the United States; and various companies with general corporate construction and real estate needs.
Lee advises various clients in the commercial construction industry, including owners, developers, contractors, design professionals and other parties, in connection with construction contract negotiation, contract administration and project development. He has represented various clients in connection with the construction of major industrial plants, commercial office buildings, manufacturing facilities, multi-family projects, build-to-rent projects and residential communities.
Likewise, Lee’s real estate practice also includes significant timberland transaction representation involving acquisitions, dispositions, and financings of large tract timber properties throughout the United States and the representation of TIMOs, private and commercial land owners, harvesters, and others. Lee regularly works with and represents one of the premier TIMOs in the United States in connection with his timberland practice.
Lee’s commercial lending practice includes the representation of lenders, borrowers and participants both in the southeast and nationally in a wide range of financing transactions, including commercial real estate financing and commercial, industrial and asset-based lending.
