Partner. Lauro has more than 30 years of experience counseling international and domestic clients in connection with all types of antitrust matters, including mergers and anticompetitive investigations by Brazilian antitrust authorities. His clients include private and public companies from nearly all economic sectors, including automotive, construction, energy, technology, pharmaceutical, food, telecommunications, and transportation, as well as investors, sponsors, and financers. Lauro was President of IBRAC Brazilian Institute of Studies on Competition, Consumer Affairs and International Trade – IBRAC (Instituto Brasileiro de Estudos de Concorrência, Consumo e Comércio Internacional) in 2020/21, a Brazilian think tank organization focusing in antitrust related studies. He is member of the Board of ABDIB – Brazilian Association of Infrastructure and Basic Industries a private non-profit business association focused in infrastructure development.
