Lars Skanvig

Lars is head of Plesner's Insolvency Law and Restructuring team and has more than 30 years of experience in handling insolvency and restructuring proceedings. He is widely recognised as one of Denmark's foremost and highly regarded trustees, sought after for his expertise and trusted guidance.

Throughout his career, Lars has played pivotal roles in numerous large-scale bankruptcies and restructurings, both in Denmark and internationally. His involvement in these complex cases emphasises his profound understanding of the intricacies involved.

Lars holds a master’s degree in law from the University of Copenhagen and Duke University, North Carolina, USA.

He is admitted to the High Court of Denmark.

Lars holds a highly esteemed position as a permanent trustee at the Maritime and Commercial High Court.

He is certified as a member of the panel of lawyers appointed by the Danish Debt Collection Agency and recognised as a certified insolvency attorney by Danske Insolvensadvokater (an association of Danish insolvency lawyers).
