Klaus-A. Gerstenmaier is recognized both nationally and internationally as an arbitration specialist. He is one of Germany’s leading arbitrators and for many years he has been appointed as an arbitrator of numerous major national and international disputes. His expertise is based on several years of practice as a lawyer, primarily advising enterprises on corporate law and M&A transactions.
Professional Memberships
Klaus Gerstenmaier was the German member of the ICC International Court of Arbitration, Paris and a member of the board of the German Arbitration Institute (DIS). He is Past Chair of the Litigation Committee of the International Bar Association (IBA) and he now holds the chair and is a member of various supervisory boards.
