Career
Kimberly has unique experience guiding clients through the complexities of large-scale, long-term real estate and finance transactions, and in particular, public-private development projects. Kimberly has represented clients in some of the most significant development projects in downtown Boise including the Ada County Courthouse Corridor project, the BoDo development, and the Greater Boise Auditorium District convention center expansion. Kimberly also specializes in representing borrowers in tax exempt bond financings and has broad experience in real estate transactions involving the finance, acquisition and leasing of commercial properties, charter schools and agricultural land. Kimberly leads clients through forming and managing business entities specifically designed to a client’s unique goals and objectives.
Prior to joining Givens Pursley, Kimberly worked at Lord, Bissell & Brook in Chicago, Illinois, and worked as in-house general counsel for a technology firm. Kimberly’s in-house experience exposed her to a wide range of business concerns from the business owner’s perspective, including employment, intellectual property, corporate governance and service contracting.

Work Highlights
Represented the Greater Boise Auditorium District in connection with its three phase $38,000,000 convention center expansion project, which was funded in part through lease revenue bond financing in the amount of $23,085,000 issued by the Urban Renewal Agency of Boise City, Idaho.
Represented a nonprofit charter school development company in connection with approximately $50 million in financing for the acquisition and construction of school facilities for seven charter schools. Representation involved both conventional bank financing and nonprofit facilities revenue bonds issued by the Idaho Housing and Finance Association.
Represented a national REIT in the acquisition and lease of over $110,000,000 of agricultural land in three states.
Represented an Idaho business in connection with the acquisition of an existing company and subsequent stock sale through a $24,000,000 reverse triangular merger.
Represented the developer in connection with the long term lease and development of the courthouse corridor property in downtown Boise, including the lease revenue bond financing of the Ada County Courthouse and the financing and development of parking facilities, retail and residential space.
Represented a consortium of Idaho companies in the financed acquisition of telecommunications assets totaling $57,000,000.
