Kelly Powers

Kelly Powers is the firm's general counsel and a principal in the firm’s Family Law & Private Clients Group.

Kelly represents clients in high-net-worth divorce work, high-conflict custody disputes, international child abduction cases, and federal and state private client appellate work. Her divorce practice focuses on cases involving the valuation and division of complex business and other family assets. Kelly has experience handling family law emergencies and injunctions, and she is a qualified solicitor in England and Wales.

She represents clients in divorce cases in the District of Columbia and all across Maryland, including on Maryland’s Eastern Shore. Her clients include entrepreneurs, corporate executives, private equity and other investment professionals, medical and legal professionals, professional athletes and entertainment professionals, social media influencers and their spouses or partners.

Kelly’s appellate practice includes representing parties and amici in federal and state appellate courts nationwide, including in the Supreme Court of the United States.
