Career
Kelly has a wealth of experience advising clients on all aspects of family law, having worked exclusively for the past 17 years with High Net and Ultra High Net worth clients, including those in the finance and banking industry, entrepreneurs, celebrities, sportspeople and their spouses.
Kelly worked as a paralegal and then trained as a solicitor under the tutelage of the formidable Raymond Tooth, of Sears Tooth. Kelly remained at Sears Tooth for over 10 years where she was made a Partner. Kelly then spent 2 years at a leading City firm before deciding to set up her own practice in 2019.
Highly rated by her clients, counsel and her peers, Kelly has built a strong reputation for being a tough and straight-talking lawyer who will always give clear and straightforward advice from the outset and most importantly fight your case where necessary. Kelly has also been praised by clients for her ability to understand and empathise with the concerns and worries so often required when dealing with someone’s separation.
Kelly is experienced in international family law cases involving financial issues and the relocation of/arrangements for children, applications to the English Court for financial settlement following divorce proceedings overseas, and jurisdiction disputes and has grown a strong practice in dealing with cases involving the Russian Federation, Europe and the United Arab Emirates.
Kelly has advised on numerous pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements including for international clients and regularly advises on the appropriate provision to include. Kelly’s experience includes advising where other jurisdictions need to be considered, including various States of America and African nations.
Kelly also has extensive experience in dealing with children matters, successfully advising clients in a whole host of issues, from child arrangements, holiday issues, to dealing with applications for leave to remove and more complicated issues.
Kelly has dealt with some of the most complicated cases in the family courts over the last 17 years, and regularly deals with cases involving, trusts and complicated corporate structures, company valuation issues and where there are allegations of dishonesty and non-disclosure
