Keith Meacham, an esteemed Shareholder in the firm and co-chair of the firm’s wealth and estate planning team, has long-standing roots in South Carolina. He was born in Charleston, South Carolina but relocated to Greenville, South Carolina with his family when he was six years old. As a Certified Specialist in Taxation Law and Estate Planning and Probate Law, Keith provides customized estate planning, probate law, complex estate and trust administration, non-profit/charities law and taxation law services in the Upstate and the surrounding counties. By meeting clients where they are in life, Keith guides them toward a secure future for themselves, their families, and their businesses. He leverages his deep knowledge and experience to effectively and efficiently counsel clients to achieve their personal goals and long term security.
A dedicated member of the Greenville community, Keith has served on the boards for both the St. Francis Foundation and the Greenville Hospital System Foundation. He is a respected figure in the legal community, holding leadership positions such as Past Chairperson of the Tax Law Section of the South Carolina Bar and Past President of the Greenville Estate Planning Council. Keith is also a fellow in the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC).
Keith has been consistently recognized for his excellence, including being honored in Best Lawyers in America since 2012, being named a Greenville Lawyer of the Year fourteen times in various practice areas, receiving the Greenville Business Magazine Legal Elite Award nine times, and named a South Carolina Super Lawyer.
Beyond his professional achievements, Keith's focus is on his family. He and his wife, Diane, have triplets: Taylor, a student at Clemson University; Dallas, a local attorney in the Upstate; and Layton, a touring musician. The family also includes their two dogs, Mack and Brute. In his spare time, Keith loves to play guitar and listen to a wide range of music.
