Kathy Le is a partner in the Toronto office of Dickinson Wright. As a member of the firm’s corporate transactions group, her practice includes a wide variety of corporate and commercial matters with an emphasis on domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, corporate and transaction structuring, business succession planning, day-to-day commercial arrangements, and corporate governance.
Kathy works with a range of clients from entrepreneurs to multinational corporations in a wide range of industries. She advises private equity firms, family businesses, private companies, and emerging companies.
Kathy supports clients on their strategic and commercial success, from day-to-day operations through to strategic initiatives and complex transactions, in a practical and business-oriented way. She acts as general counsel with the leaders and owners of businesses on an ongoing basis, and works closely with in-house legal teams to provide additional expertise and resources. Kathy works with foreign clients who need local counsel in Canada and works closely with the firm’s US lawyers to meet client objectives on cross-border matters.
