Kate Sawyer Keane is a partner in Elias Law Group’s Political Law practice. She provides counsel on ethics, campaign finance, and financial disclosure rules to candidates, presidential campaigns, members of the United States Senate and House of Representatives, elected officials, political parties, and progressive organizations.

Ms. Keane has built a reputation as a go-to legal authority on ethics-related issues and investigations, as well as the interplay of regulations on government ethics and political activity that govern officials, political parties, and other participants in the political system. She also advises progressive organizations on the full range of their political activity and all interactions with federal, state, and local government, government officials, or candidates.

Ms. Keane advises numerous House and Senate campaign committees as well as official House and Senate offices, where she provides strategic advice and day-to-day counseling on all aspects of their legal programs.

Ms. Keane is a graduate of New York University School of Law and Yale University.
