Kasey focuses her practice on minimizing estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer taxes for high net worth individuals, both domestic and international. She routinely drafts sophisticated estate planning documents and prenuptial agreements. She also advises fiduciaries with respect to estate and trust administration and guides clients through the probate process following the death of a loved one.
Kasey has extensive experience with the formation of tax-exempt entities and regularly counsels private foundations and public charities with respect to governance and compliance matters. She has been involved in numerous tax audits and controversies and has helped negotiate favorable settlements with both the U.S. government and state taxing authorities. She is also highly skilled at preparing estate and gift tax returns.
After volunteering with the United States Peace Corps in Kazakhstan, Kasey received her J.D. from the George Washington University Law School and her Master of Laws from New York University.
