I started my career in the court room with around 5 years of litigation experience in various fields includng criminal and civil law. I then moved to the corporate world where i held various positions such as legal and compliance in banking and finance. I then move to be a laywer at the Michael Kyprianou Group. There i set up a fintech and crypto legal department in Malta and moved to shareholder and Managing Partner of the Malta entity with a few years. I have been Managing partner of MK Fintech Partners Ltd for the last 7 years. I am also involved in various policy work. I used to sit as a member of the Digital Economy Taskforce set up by the Malta Ministry of Finance. I now sit as the Deputy Chairperson of the Virtual Assets Executive Committee part of the Malta Chamber of Commerce.

I have an LL.B, LL.D and LL.M with two published thesis's. One Thesis was titled 'The Constitutionality and Legality of the Maltese Security Service Act and the interception of communications' (35,000 words) done as part of my LL.D and the other thesis was titled 'Jurisdiction in Cyberspace - who should govern' done as part of my LL.M at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands.
I enjoy swimming, sailing, scuba diving and anything water related! I also practice Yoga and Meditation. I am a family person: I have a husbrand and two wonderful young children and try and practice and maintain having a good work life balance to enjoy time with my family.
