Josh Rataezyk

Josh Rataezyk focuses his practice on bankruptcy, restructuring and collections. He has extensive experience representing clients in complex, contested receivership and bankruptcy proceedings. Josh has also defended clients in bankruptcy avoidance actions and represented stakeholders in collection litigation throughout the Pacific Northwest.

•Represented large corporation in defense of avoidance actions in Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 proceedings.

•Representation of holder of multi-million dollar judgment in collection litigation in bankruptcy and state court involving appointment of chapter 11 trustee and conversion of bankruptcy case to chapter 7 and seeking denial of judgment debtor's discharge in bankruptcy court.

•Represented apartment building owner in chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings involving confirmation of Plan of Reorganization.

•Representation of general receiver with respect to preservation, marketing, and liquidation of 24-unit condominium development.

•Representation of general receiver with respect to liquidation of 30+ single-family residences in greater Portland area.

•Representation of construction lender in 30+ receivership actions and workouts involving real property collateral ranging in value from $500,000 to $25 million.
