José Gálvez Rosasco is the co-founder of Gálvez & Dolorier Abogados, a legal boutique specializing in complex tax and labor matters. José is a seasoned expert in tax consultancy and tax litigation with over 25 years of experience in both local and international tax planning and business restructuring. He is highly regarded for his leadership in tax matters related to mergers and acquisitions.

José worked for eight years at the Peruvian taxation authority—SUNAT and has worked as an advisor in Congress. He advises permanently on corporate and estate tax planning of diverse magnitude and is an expert litigator in audits before the Peruvian Tax Administration (SUNAT).

José is an associate professor at the Universidad de Lima since 2008, he teaches Tax Law and Income Tax Law at the graduate program.

Professor of Tax Law – Tax Code, at the University of Lima (since 2006).
