My training in the Mexican Army shaped my professional approach, instilling discipline, composure under pressure, and decisive action in complex scenarios.

My professional career began in 2001 when I joined the criminal law division at Basham, Ringe y Correa, S.C. as an intern, later becoming an Associate Attorney in 2003. In 2011, I took responsibility for criminal litigation at the Monterrey office, and in 2016 became a Partner. In late 2022, I founded MC2.Legal, S.C. with the objective of providing more tailored criminal law services specifically designed to address the individual requirements of each client.

As a litigator I have been the author in the creation of several strategies to defend the interests of multiple companies that are listed in the Fortune 500 index.

My background as a Mexican Army Officer, combined with my legal education, provides me with a unique perspective for analyzing security strategies and risk prevention mechanisms.

My litigation experience, working both with the Public Ministry and as a Defender, enables me to audit and advise companies on compliance with Anti-Money Laundering laws in Mexico, the United States, and the United Kingdom.

I also provide consulting services in crime prevention with a focus on risk management.
