I am a litigation attorney with a Master's in Law, specialized in criminal litigation, consulting, and training in criminal compliance and crime prevention. My experience can be extremely valuable to businesses in several aspects.

Career

My professional career began in 2001 when I joined the criminal law division at Basham, Ringe y Correa, S.C. as an intern, later becoming an Associate Attorney in 2003. In 2011, I took responsibility for criminal litigation at the Monterrey office, and in 2016 became a Partner. In late 2022, I founded MC2.Legal, S.C. with the objective of providing more tailored criminal law services specifically designed to address the individual requirements of each client.

As a litigator I have been the author in the creation of several strategies to defend the interests of multiple companies that are listed in the Fortune 500 index.

Member of Criminal Law Committee of the National Association of Business Lawyers, Nuevo León Chapter.

Member of the National Association of Corporate Lawyers (ANADE), Monterrey Chapter, where he have served as coordinator of the Criminal Law Committee.

Experience

My background as a Mexican Army Officer, combined with my legal education, provides me with a unique perspective for analyzing security strategies and risk prevention mechanisms.

My litigation experience, working both with the Public Ministry and as a Defender, enables me to audit and advise companies on compliance with Anti-Money Laundering laws in Mexico, the United States, and the United Kingdom.

I also provide consulting services in crime prevention with a focus on risk management.

My expertise can help companies build a solid legal compliance structure, preventing risks and protecting their interests across multiple jurisdictions.
