JP is a Fellow of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) and a certified specialist in Estate Planning and Probate Law by the Supreme Court of South Carolina. He advises clients regarding the transition of wealth to beneficiaries and helps clients achieve their personal, business, and charitable planning objectives. He also advises clients regarding gift, estate, and generation-skipping transfer taxes and tax returns.
In addition to handling probate court hearings for estate and trust matters, JP advises fiduciaries and beneficiaries on issues and disputes that arise in the trust and estate administration context, on distributions from qualified plans, and the administration of trusts.
