Dispute Resolution
Jonathan advises on complex cross-border disputes and investigations involving clients' Asian businesses, specialising in financial services and technology related disputes and cyber incidents.
Jonathan advises on all forms of dispute before national courts and arbitral tribunals under various rules (in particular HKIAC, ICC and UNCITRAL), and on investigations by financial services and data privacy regulators (including the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission, the Hong Kong Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data, the Singapore Personal Data Protection Commission, and the UK Information Commissioner's Office).
As a result of RPC's 'conflict free' model for financial services disputes, Jonathan represents senior individuals, assets managers, and multi-national corporations, in claims and complaints against leading investment banks.
As Asia lead for RPC's 'ReSecure' 24/7 cyber incident response service, Jonathan frequently acts as cyber incident response manager, helping clients navigate and respond to cyber-attacks and other data breaches suffered by companies across Asia.
