John Babcock

Corporate and Tax Law

John Babcock has over 30 years of experience in corporate and tax law matters, mergers and acquisitions and general business transactions.

John represents clients regarding all aspects of entity formation, corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and commercial business transactions.

John graduated from the University of Michigan-Dearborn in 1982, with distinction, with a bachelor of science in administration. He received his J.D. in 1985 from Wake Forest University, where he graduated magna cum laude, and an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University in 1987.

John serves as an adjunct professor of law at Wake Forest University Law School, where he has taught courses in business planning, partnership taxation, and corporate taxation. He is also the current Chair of the North Carolina Business Law Section’s Subcommittee on LLC’s, Partnerships and Unincorporated Entities.
