Director and Deputy Superintendent of the Superintendence of Private Insurance (SUSEP) – the Brazilian insurance and reinsurance supervision and regulation body, where he led the first phase of implementation of the regulatory standards of the International Association of Insurance Supervisors – IAIS, the regulation of the Civil Code of 2002 and the opening of the Brazilian reinsurance market, with the publication of Complementary Law No. 126/2007 – 2003 to 2007.
