Joanna is partner in the Maples and Calder’s Finance team in the Maples Group’s London office. She is also co-head of the firm’s British Virgin Islands Funds & Investment Management practice. She deals with a wide variety of finance, banking and corporate law matters involving BVI and Cayman Islands companies and partnerships, including public and private mergers and acquisitions, IPOs, joint ventures, debt and equity financings, and real estate, project and asset financings. She also advises BVI investment funds, in particular the establishment and maintenance of hedge funds and private equity funds.
