Jesús Dávila heads the Corporate/M&A practice group in Baker McKenzie Caracas office. He advises domestic and multinational companies on the full scope of corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, takeovers, joint ventures and a variety of other corporate and compliance work. He has a strong track record providing insightful advice to companies on matters of antitrust, foreign investment and technology transfer and IT/Communications. Jesús is also recognized in the local market as an expert in corporate compliance. He leads the compliance committee at the American-Venezuelan Chamber of Commerce (Venamcham) and author the Compliance Podcast, currently running its 3rd season. Jesus is a university professor of law in Venezuela, and he has recently been appointed as Director of Universidad Metropolitana Law School.
