Professional Memberships
Jenny is deeply committed to pro bono work and community service, with a focus on advancing access to justice and supporting individuals navigating sensitive and high-stakes situations. She has represented individuals who could not otherwise afford counsel, including women reporting sexual assault or relational abuse in educational settings. In these matters, she has advocated on their behalf in disciplinary proceedings and worked to protect them from invasive litigation tactics, including efforts to prevent depositions in cases where they were not parties.
In addition to her direct representation, Jenny has held leadership roles in organizations dedicated to advancing women’s rights. She previously served as Board Chair of Planned Parenthood of Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota Action Fund, where she helped support efforts to expand access to reproductive health care, protect patient autonomy, and promote medically accurate education.
Her pro bono and community work reflects the same judgment, discretion, and commitment to careful advocacy that she brings to her clients’ most challenging matters.
Work Highlights
Jenny has led employers through some of their most challenging employment disputes, consistently securing favorable outcomes in high-exposure matters. She recently served as lead trial counsel for a Fortune 500 company and its subsidiary in a federal jury trial defeating a multimillion-dollar sex discrimination claim. In another jury trial, she represented Olmsted County against claims of age, race, and gender discrimination and retaliation, obtaining a complete defense verdict where the plaintiff sought $8.2 million.
Her experience also includes leading a two-week arbitration for a Fortune 100 company against a senior executive alleging wrongful termination, discrimination, defamation, and breach of contract—resulting in a full defense award on all claims—and obtaining early dismissal of similar executive claims through dispositive motion practice. She has also litigated and investigated cases involving sensitive allegations of workplace misconduct, including employer liability claims arising from alleged sexual misconduct, and is often called upon when both legal and reputational stakes are high.
