In the last three years he has appeared in important hearings and lengthy trials involving civil fraud (the Group Seven litigation in the Chancery Division and the Court of Appeal), banking corruption (at the Old Bailey), banking and Hedley Byrne issues (acting for the bank in the Playboy litigation in the Court of Appeal and Supreme Court) and in the Patents Court for Sandoz in the largest claim on a cross-undertaking for damages caused by an injunction and for Eli Lilly on the law of res judicata. An expert in Norwich Pharmacal orders (having appeared in Ramilos) and injunctive relief, Jeff continues to advise in various heavy multi-jurisdictional commercial disputes including on behalf of Wirecard AG and various international Chinese clients.
