Jean-Pierre Picca was a magistrate for 25 years and has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2013. He is now partner in charge of the Investigations, Criminal Business Law and Compliance (IWCF) practice in the Paris office.
A former public prosecutor and liaison magistrate with the Criminal Division of the US Department of Justice, Jean-Pierre is familiar with financial investigations and complex cross-border litigation. He represents his corporate and financial institution clients before the criminal courts and regulatory authorities, and assists them on a wide range of compliance issues (governance, international sanctions, AML regulations in France and abroad, handling of internal alerts, anti-corruption measures). He also conducts numerous internal investigations in defense of the companies he advises.
Jean-Pierre is a lecturer at the Institut d'Etudes Politiques de Paris.
