Jean-Daniel Bretzner, Partner at Bredin Prat, is a member of the Litigation team.
He represents companies and their senior executives in civil, commercial and criminal proceedings.
He was a member of the Commission set up by Mrs Arens, President of the French Supreme Court, which published a report entitled “The reform of French civil liability Law in its economics environment”. He was also a member of the Commission set up in 2020 by the French Minister of Justice and headed by Mr. Professor Stoffel-Munck, in order to amend and update about 500 provisions of the French Civil Code about the Law of contract.
Jean-Daniel Bretzner has written numerous articles for legal journals on subjects such as contract law, evidence law, procedural law and economic law. He has created an annual column on evidence law which appears in the Recueil Dalloz.
He has recently contributed to several books, Reform of French Law of contract, published in 2015 by Dalloz, “The emerging Law of Electronic platforms”, published in 2021 by Dalloz Editions.
