Jan Bart is an expert in commercial and corporate dispute resolution. His practice covers the entire range of dispute resolution, with a focus on banking and finance litigation, director’s and professional liability, M&A related disputes and follow-on (cartel) damage claims. Jan Bart has extensive experience in large corporate investigations and asset recovery cases. He advises various (listed) companies and financial institutions on corporate and obligatory issues and liability.

Jan Bart publishes regularly and is a lecturer at the Law Firm School on discovery and evidence. He is also a lecturer at the Nyenrode Business University for executives and non-executives on governance.

Career

Jan Bart worked for many years as a senior lawyer in the Litigation & Arbitration and Banking & International Capital Markets departments of Allen & Overy.
