Jabier Badiola is the Managing Partner for Spain and Head in Dentons’ Banking and Finance practice in Spain. In addition, Jabier has been a member of the Board of Directors, and member of the Finance Committee of the Board of Directors of Dentons European since March 2024.

Jabier specializes in finance law and has more than 20 years of experience in major cross-border syndicated finance transactions, with a particular focus on general lending, asset finance, project finance, structured finance, corporate finance and debt restructuring. Jabier has extensive experience acting for lenders, borrowers and sponsors, with a particular focus on financial institutions and private equities in Europe and Latin America.

Jabier has authored and co-authored several articles and legal books on financing structures, including "Aproximación a las diferentes modalidades de financiación" in Cuadernos de derecho para ingenieros, sponsored by Iberdrola, S.A., 2016 and "Estudios sobre Financiaciones Sindicadas, 2017".
