Itxaso López

Itxaso López is a partner in Dentons' real estate practice in Spain.

Prior to joining Dentons, she worked at national firms Cuatrecasas and Gómez-Acebo & Pombo. Itxaso has been advising national and international investors on acquisitions, sales and real estate transactions for 20 years. She has participated in numerous disposal and financing operations of all types of real estate, including portfolios of residential buildings, offices, shopping centres, hotels and logistics warehouses.

In addition, in recent years she has been involved in numerous land acquisition transactions for the development of residential, logistics and data centre real estate assets, advising on urban planning and construction issues.

Since 2020 she has been a partner in the Real Estate team of Dentons' Spanish office, leading the team of lawyers specialising in real estate matters. Itxaso actively participates in the European Dentons group that promotes and advises on ESG issues applied to real estate practice.

Finally, Itxaso is a member of the associations Women in Real Estate Spain (WIRES) and Women in a Legal World, where she collaborates in multiple committees, working groups and various mentoring initiatives for young women lawyers.
