Işık Özdoğan is a well-respected practitioner in intellectual property law and heads the firm’s IP practice. Her experience also extends to sophisticated IP transactions, commercialization mandates, and complex market-entry projects. She regularly advises international clients on matters with significant commercial impact and is known for aligning legal strategy with broader commercial objectives. Active in sectors where IP assets are central to competitive advantage, Işık has led market-entry and risk-mitigation projects that overcome rights-related barriers and enable the successful launch of new products in Türkiye.
Işık manages local trademark and patent portfolios for prominent global brands and advises on sophisticated protection strategies against infringers and bad-faith actors. Her practice encompasses IP prosecution, monitoring and enforcement, delivering effective and commercially sound rights protection. She serves on the Public Information Committee of INTA and on the Famous and Well-Known Marks Team of MARQUES.
Işık is ranked as a Leading Partner by The Legal 500 in 2025 for the twelfth consecutive year, and in Band 1 by Chambers & Partners Europe 2025 for the thirteenth consecutive year. She is also recognized in the seventh edition of World Trademark Review Global Leaders and was included in Managing IP’s Top 250 Women in IP list between 2016 and 2024.
