Isaac Ntombela

Isaac is a Partner and Head of the Corporate and Commercial Business Unit of the firm Minchin & Kelly (Botswana). His experience includes cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, commercial aspects of energy projects, large due diligence investigations, tax law advisory including income tax, VAT, capital gains tax and capital transfer tax. Isaac advises across a range of sectors including mining, energy, and hospitality. His notable work includes advising Botswana Oil Limited on the structuring of the Ikaegeng Coal to Liquids (CTL) PPP Project.

Isaac started his career in January 2010 as a lecturer with Gaborone Universal College of Law. He joined the Attorney General's Chambers for a short stint from August to September 2011 focusing on litigation. Isaac then joined Minchin & Kelly (Botswana) in October 2011 as a professional assistant in the Corporate and Commercial Business Unit and was promoted to Partner in January 2017.
