Ioana Gelepu has 23 years of experience in dispute resolution, covering an extremely broad range of practice areas, such as: commercial, contentious administrative matters (including tax and public acquisitions), civil matters, labour law disputes, intellectual property and malpractice.
Over time, Ioana Gelepu has been engaged in more than 1700 mandates referring to litigation.
The cases handled are exclusively from the litigious or pre-litigious spectrum (meaning all types of situations where the seeds of discord have already been sown).
She has activated for 21 years in two well-known law firms (holding the position of partner in the second one for 12 years), deciding, starting from March 1st, 2023, to change her career path to pursue a boutique litigation formula.

Work Highlights
January 2024 – the High Court of Cassation and Justice has ruled definitively in favor of a well-known restaurant operator (represented by the Ioana Gelepu The Office Litigation & Enforcement), granting an unfair competition action and prohibiting acts such as the diverting of clients and activities carried out with the aim of obtaining, from the plaintiff’s suppliers, similar commercial terms to those practiced in relation to the latter
March 2024 – Ioana Gelepu The Office Litigation & Enforcement obtains a favorable final ruling on the trademark registration of a well-known player on the event catering market
October 2024 – closing of the last file out of a package of 24 arising from a corporate conflict within a proeminent Romanian group active in the real estate sector (financial stake: €43 million for some cases, seeking annulment of various GMS decisions, and €33 million for the litigations on suspending – by means of an injunction – the GMS decisions). The litigations were closed based on an out of court settlement
