Ilkka Aalto-Setälä

Ilkka has over 20 years of experience with antitrust, state aid and merger control matters. He heads the firm’s Competition & Public Procurement team with the background at the Finnish Competition Authority and the Merger Task Force of the European Commission’s. Ilkka regularly litigates before the Finnish Market Court and European Commission. Ilkka has advised numerous domestic and foreign clients on M&A transactions and cooperation arrangements.

International Bar Association; Chairman of the Competition Law Expert Group, Finnish Bar Association; member of the working group preparing changes to the Competition Act.
