Ian Stone is Director in the Corporate Department of Wakefield Quin Limited. His areas of experience include initial public offerings, public company and capital markets transactions, advising on offshore corporate and partnership structures, project financing, banking transactions, acquisitions and mergers, insurance and reinsurance law, group restructuring and general corporate work.
An experienced non-executive director, Ian provides governance services as board member of Bermuda exempted companies across a wide range of industries including insurance, shipping, and investment structures.
Ian has practiced with Wakefield Quin Limited since 2004. Previously, he was Senior Corporate Counsel at Appleby Bermuda from 1999 to 2004 and a Partner at Halliwells in Manchester, UK until 1999.
Ian is a member of the Bermuda Bar Association. He was a member of the Law Society of England and Wales through 1999.
