Iain is the managing partner of Brett Wilson LLP and a prominent media lawyer, dealing with defamation, privacy and harassment law. He predominantly acts for politicians, celebrities, HNWIs, corporates, public bodies, professionals and law firms.
Iain heads up the firm’s media and communications law department, which is well-known for both claims against the traditional media and cases concerning online publication. In respect of the latter, Iain acted in two of the leading cases in this field: The Law Society & Ors v Kordowski [2011] EWHC 3185 (QB) (‘Solicitors from Hell case’) and Tamiz v Google Inc [2013] EWCA Civ 68.
